A little bit of water to calm the heart

A print that had to be made to help me (and you) remember how it was to swim this summer! One of my favourite places to swim is high tide (when it is safe) at the Appledore life boat slip way. This year the buzz, the sea, the sky, the whole swim, was genuinely magical. It settled my heart and mind and made me smile.

The name for the print is taken from a quote from a book 'There are rivers in the sky' by Elif Shafak. A beautiful book that gives a reality to water in a way I've never read about before.

As with all my Wave Project prints, 10% of the profits will go to Wave Project North Devon (www.waveproject.co.uk). So that’s a surf print for you and a donation to a fantastic charity which will go towards a surf therapy session for a young person who really needs it.

Limited edition print run of 16 little prints on Fabriano high quality artists paper - Hand drawn artwork and hand screen printed. Prints will vary slightly due to the hand made nature of the screen print and the gradient effect on the background.

Printed area is approx printed on paper approx sized 14cm wide by 19cm high.

Your print will be sent to you carefully packaged in a flat card envelope. Maximum delivery time is 2 weeks to allow for packaging and second class postage.
