Print Your Own Print evening sessions
The next monthly evening print sessions at the lovely Hand:Plant where you can have an introduction to stencil screen printing and/or work on your own stencil screen print artwork, in your own time.
I'll be on hand to help you on how to make your ideas into lovely prints going over technique and offering you all I can from my years of screen printing practice and enthusiasm!
Screens, inks, some paper (but bring your own if you have some you'd like to use), scalpels, cutting mats and so on provided.
Just bring an apron, yourself and your ideas! Even better, come with a friend or two and have a catch up while being creative.

Introduction to Stencil-Based Screen Printing
In this stencil-based screen-printing workshop, participants will explore the art of creating layered screen prints under the expert guidance of Tushka (Chrissy Mouncey).
The session begins with designing and refining a minimum of two-layer stencils, which will then be hand-cut. Attendees will experiment with vibrant color blends, gradients, and monoprinting techniques, adding intricate details by painting directly onto the screen.
The workshop welcomes all abilities, from beginners to those with screen-printing experience who wish to expand their skills and explore stencil techniques.
While all materials are provided, participants are encouraged to bring images, sketchbooks, or anything that sparks their creativity—or simply arrive ready to be inspired. Please bring an apron.

Introduction to stencil screen printing workshop
An introduction session to screen printing with stencils where you will play with layering printed shapes and colour, learn to monoprint and print with gradient colour blends, and by the end of the workshop you will know what all that means!
Screens, inks, paper, scalpels, cutting mats and so on provided. Just bring an apron, yourself and have some fun.
Workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have printed before, adults and children over 11. Bring an apron!

Pull a print drop in session
Come and have a go at pulling a print (you will know what that means by the time you leave!) and take home a piece of Tushka artwork that you will have printed yourself.
No experience needed, and suitable for all ages.
Printing should take about 5 minutes but as this is a drop in session please be prepared to wait and eat lovely Hand:Plant cake if it is busy.

If you would like to learn to screen print using stencils, I would love to teach you. I can offer small screen printing workshops in my small studio in North Devon for up to 3 people. Day workshops can run from 10am to 4pm. £150 for 1 person including materials, £170 for 2 people and £190 for 3 people. Please contact me if you would like to discuss a date.
