This print is based on a surfer we saw watching huge waves on a stormy day, waiting for the right moment to commit to the paddle out and an epic surf day. The sea was full of life and power, and far beyond my surfing ability, but it was so exciting to watch someone who had the surf talent which would him to enjoy the full force of mother nature.

Surfing is one of those activities where the whole world can reset and what seems like a bad day can suddenly be transformed into an amazing day, watching surfers can be equally therapeutic. Embracing the truly great outdoors is the best thing for any mind, remembering the power of the sea and how it is ever changing.
